This beautiful representation of a mandala is an original design and each dot is carefully placed with my hands onto an 8”x 8” stretched canvas using acrylic paint from my small art studio in Portland, Oregon. It has been signed by me on the back and finished with a coat of glossy acrylic spray. It also hangs beautifully on a wall by itself or nestled in a frame. Mandalas also make wonderful gifts for any occasion. This is a completed piece but I can do this Mandala in the color scheme of your choice. Please contact me to get started! The meaning of mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning “circle.” Even though it may be have features like squares or triangles, a mandala always has a concentric (circular) nature. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony. The meanings of mandala depends upon color, geometric elements and culture. The circle is the most natural form known to mankind. The universe is made up of planets, stars, moons and the sun---all spherical in shape. The sun rises and sets in a never-ending circle; seasons pass in an annual circle. Trees, rocks and raindrops are circular, and most fruits and flowers are spherical. The cells and atoms that make up everything within the universe are circular.
